Principal's Welcome Welcome to St. Anne Grade School District#256. The staff at St. Anne Grade School is excited to begin the 2012-2013 school year. The commitment of our staff to create lasting learning experiences for our students is the corner stone to this commitment. We believe in each and every student and their abilities to be successful, in turn the students need to bring a positive work ethic so they can absorb the vast amount of knowledge they will be given. As the start of the school year approaches, I ask that you and your child review the rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures found in this handbook as established by the St. Anne Grade School Board of Education with input from the Parent-Teacher Advisory Committee. St. Anne Grade School will continue to create a safe and caring environment while also maintaining high expectations and standards for our students. At St. Anne Grade School, we will not only work to ensure your child has the best educational experience but will continue to provide those skills necessary for success beyond the classroom. It is with your commitment and cooperation that we will continue to provide the best educational opportunities for our students. St. Anne Grade School will continue to use the daily planners for students in grades 1-8. The planner has been established as part of the routine for our students to promote good organizational skills as well as keep parents informed about homework assignments. The planner also offers a way to communicate between teachers and parents. I am excited about being the new principal at St. Anne Grade School. Working together, staff, parents, and students, we will make sure your child has the best educational experiences. I look forward to meeting you this year. If you have any questions that cannot be answered after reading this handbook, please feel free to call me.
Yours in Education, Tara A. Lemenager, Principal |
